i have tested this using an android and iOS phone. Android phone blocked iOS phone, but no group chat rooms appeared on the Android phone. Doesn’t work.

Yeah this doesn’t work, tested on two android phones in August 2017. Probably they fixed this ‘bug’ unfortunately.
